Meet Jason, Our Sommelier

Every journey needs a guide. Ours is Jason Castle - a sommelier with 20+ years in fine dining and certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers.

Each month, Jason picks bottles that you deeper into a region’s story, connecting you to the people and places behind the bottles. 

He curates each month’s selection like an itinerary - rare bottles, remarkable makers, and stories you won’t find anywhere else. 

As a member, you’ll have direct access to Jason through our monthly calls - insider knowledge, straight from the source.

FAQ

Can I pause or skip a month?

Yes, you can pause or skip any month directly from your membership portal. Simply log in, choose the month you’d like to skip, and your membership will pick back up the following month.

When will I receive my monthly box?

Your box will be dispatched around five days after billing, and you’ll receive tracking details as soon as your wines are on their way. Delivery usually takes 3-7 business days depending on your location.

When will I be charged?

You’ll be charged on the same day each month - the day you first became a member. We'll send a reminder email a few days before billing in case you’d like to pause your membership or update your details.

Do I know the wines and regions before I’m charged?

Yes. We reveal the upcoming region on the 1st of each month and members are notified a day earlier. You’ll always know what’s next before you’re charged. You can pause your membership any time before your billing date if you’d like to skip that month

What if I don’t like the wine?

That’s part of the journey, but if a bottle arrives damaged or isn’t up to standard, we’ll replace it immediately. Every wine we include is carefully selected and tasted by our team to ensure quality.

Are the wines exclusive to The Cellar Edit?

We partner directly with small and independent winemakers to access limited runs and unique bottles you won’t find in stores. Some wines may also be available directly from the winery, but rarely through retail shelves.

Who selects the wine each month?

Our in-house sommelier, Jason Castle, curates each box. He works directly with winemakers from each featured region to choose wines that best represent the region.
